Available Surface Finishes for Inconel Pipe

Polished Finish: Provides a smooth, mirror-like surface, ideal for applications in high-visibility areas or where aesthetics are important. Polished Inconel pipes are commonly used in architectural projects, laboratories, and high-end processing environments.

Pickled and Passivated Finish: This finish involves treating the Inconel pipe with acid solutions to remove surface impurities and enhance corrosion resistance, making it suitable for harsh chemical environments, such as in the petrochemical and chemical processing industries.

Electropolished Finish: By electrochemically removing surface imperfections, this finish creates a highly smooth, clean surface, ideal for applications that require minimal contamination risk, such as in pharmaceuticals, food processing, and biotech industries.

3-Layer Polyethylene (3LPE) Coating: Offers a triple layer of protection by combining epoxy, adhesive, and polyethylene layers. 3LPE is ideal for buried or underwater pipelines, where exceptional resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress is required.

FAQ

Q: What are the benefits of Inconel?

A: Inconels metals are a class of nickel-chrome-based super alloys characterized by high corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, strength at high temperatures, and creep resistance. Inconel is able to withstand elevated temperatures and extremely corrosive environments due to two factors.

Q: Is Inconel better than stainless steel?

A: At high temperatures, Inconel has substantially superior corrosion resistance and strength. Stainless steel, on the other hand, is stronger at lower temperatures. The primary deciding factors for choosing between the two alloys are cost, temperature, and strength.

Q: What temperature can Inconel withstand?

A: 1800 degrees F
High strength and toughness from cryogenic temperatures to 1800 degrees F (980 degrees C), good oxidation resistance, exceptional fatigue strength, and good corrosion resistance.

Q: What is the use of Inconel pipe?

A: As such, pipes and tubes made with INCONEL alloy 625 can be used in sour gas pipelines, as well as in seawater heat exchangers, power plants and chemical processing. More recently, it's also found used in biofuel production as part of the superheater tubing systems.

We're well-known as one of the leading inconel pipe manufacturers and suppliers in China. Please feel free to wholesale custom made inconel pipe at competitive price from our factory.
